Once again, Ras Beirut and Ain Aar students have been working hard compiling their essay submissions for this international essay writing competition on sustainability. The focus of this year’s competition is a letter to the new UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres. Students’ suggested a plan to combat climate change in Lebanon and globally. This is specifically tied to UN 2030 Sustainable Development Goal number 13: Climate Action. After attending informative sessions, either in presentations or electives, the students from RB Elementary and Middle, as well as AA Lower and Upper, have all strived to make the world a better place. Let’s hope Mr. Guterres is listening!
