A group of 13 elementary-aged swimmers had the opportunity to participate in an international swimming competition in Amman, Jordan. The races took place over a three-day period with the last day being used to tour the Dead Sea. The students performed well and placed in several categories of the competition. Overall, this experience gave the students a significant boost in self-confidence and a true learning experience in what it means to be a global citizen.
