Khalil Chahine, Mary Anne Der Kaloustian, Afif Fakhreddine, Eva Malik, and Tamara Raad were among the 800 who auditioned for the Association for Music in International Schools concert in the UAE, and from among whom 220 were chosen. Our singers went to Abu Dhabi knowing their music well and the AMIS conductor worked on shades of sounds, perfecting every little note and making the voices into one harmonious tapestry.
“Khalil Chahine has been accepted to participate in the past 4 senior years. There were only three among the 220 persons who had such a distinction. He received an honorable mention and was awarded a distinguished AMIS pin for that achievement,” said a proud Randa Sabbah.
