For the 12th consecutive year, our Grade 10 Model United Nations Club took part in the training sessions and the conference organized by the Lebanese American University. The aim of the training sessions is to give our students the proper skills to build a coalition, negotiate, debate, write resolutions, learn diplomatic skills and simulate the work of the UN. After acquiring the proper skills and after going through different Mock simulation under guidance of the MUN I club advisor, our club members took part in the final conference which was held at LAU – Byblos on the 4th and 5th of March. Our delegation debated current issues over the course of two days and our delegate, Adam Hariri won the diplomacy award and was selected to take part in the final selection for the NY Global Classroom Conference.
