Have you ever wonder where do we come from? As part of the unit, “Where we are in place and time” grade 4 students visited the AUB Archaeology Museum the week of May 1.
During their trip, the students met with a resident archaeologist and learned about the various periods of Lebanese and Middle Eastern history. They conducted a “Scavenger Hunt” in the museum to locate artifacts. The students were fascinated to see and know more about Lebanon's place and time over the ages.
Students will use information gathered on the trip to help them in their research for a final unit project where they will demonstrate their understanding of their place in history.
