On Wednesday, May 10, around 100 chairpersons and committee members of the ten vertical committees for Section B Teaching and Learning met in the Secondary School Auditorium to discuss the progress and next steps for finalizing their Accreditation Self-Study Reports. In a PowerPoint Presentation, Dr. Mahmud Shihab and Mrs. Connie Hadba provided guidelines and explanations pertaining to the writing of the final draft of the reports. All attending committee members received copies of the Preliminary Report comments as well as first draft copies of their own subject reports. Concerns were addressed during a question and answer session following the presentation. The final versions of the reports were presented to all teachers during the May 26th In-Service Day. At that time, all teachers of the school were given the opportunity to see their department report and approve or make further suggestions for the report.
After approval, the next step for all the vertical committees will be to begin gathering electronic evidence that supports the report statements. Deadline for this evidence gathering will be October 2017.
